The Amazon Fire TV Stick is the most popular device for IPTV in Canada — it's affordable, plugs into any TV's HDMI port, and runs IPTV player apps smoothly. This guide walks you through the entire setup using the free Downloader app.
Before you start
Make sure you have everything below ready. It only takes a moment and keeps the setup smooth.
What you need
- An Amazon Fire TV Stick connected to your TV and to the internet
- Your IPTV Contact subscription details (server URL, username, password) — sent to you on WhatsApp after ordering
- A stable internet connection — 15 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K
- About ten minutes
Prepare your Firestick
By default the Firestick only installs apps from the Amazon store. You need to allow installs from the Downloader app first.
Open Settings
From the Fire TV home screen, scroll to the top menu and select Settings (the gear icon).
Go to My Fire TV
Select My Fire TV (on some devices it's called Device & Software), then choose Developer options.
Enable app installs
Turn on Install unknown apps. If you don't see Developer options, go back and select About, then click on your device name seven times to unlock it.
Install the Downloader app
The Downloader app lets you install the IPTV player. It's free and available directly in the Amazon store.
Find Downloader
From the home screen, select the search icon and type "Downloader". Select the orange Downloader app and install it.
Open Downloader
Launch the app. Accept any permission prompts. You'll see a URL entry field on the Home tab.
Download the IPTV player
In the URL field, enter the download link for IPTV Smarters Pro. We send you the exact, current link with your subscription details — type it in and select Go.
When the file finishes downloading, select Install, then Done.
Tip: When we send your subscription, we include the exact Downloader link and code to use. Just message us on WhatsApp if you'd like us to send it again.
Enter your login details
This is the final part — connecting the player to your IPTV Contact subscription.
Open the IPTV player
Launch IPTV Smarters Pro from your apps list. Accept the terms when prompted.
Choose "Login with Xtream Codes API"
On the login screen, select the option Login with Xtream Codes API — not the M3U URL option.
Enter your details
Type in the username, password and server URL exactly as we sent them. Give the profile any name you like, then select Add User.
Start watching
The app loads the full channel list and on-demand library. That's it — all 20,000+ channels in 4K, ready on your Firestick.

On newer Firestick software, Developer options is hidden by default. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → About, highlight your device name, and click it seven times. Developer options will then appear in the My Fire TV menu.
IPTV Smarters Pro is the most reliable choice for Firestick and the one this guide uses. TiViMate is another excellent option some users prefer. We send the correct download link with your subscription.
This is almost always a typing error. Re-check the username, password and server URL — they are case-sensitive. If it still won't connect, message us on WhatsApp and we'll confirm your details and help you fix it.
Buffering is usually an internet issue. Check your speed (15 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K), and where possible connect your router by a stronger Wi-Fi signal. Restarting the Firestick clears its memory and often helps too.
